Gale Courses

Gale Course 1 smallGale Courses offers a wide range of instructor led courses that you can take entirely online.  As a CH library card holder, you are entitled to these courses at no cost. Courses run for six weeks and new sessions begin every month. Courses range from computer instruction (learn how to use all the Microsoft Office products!), writing and publishing, accounting and finance to personal development topics.  Full List of the Over 370 Offered Courses 


Mango Languages

logo mangoMango Languages offers interactive courses and movies to learn practical conversational skills in over 60 languages, as well as, gain valuable cultural insights. Mango is great for English speakers interested in learning a foreign language and also offers learning modules for non-English speakers to learn English in their native tongue.


Testing and Education Reference Center

gale testingTesting and Education Reference Center (TERC) offers tools to help students prepare for high school entrance and exit exams, prepare for AP tests or practice for the GED and so much more.  TERC provides access to over 300 practice tests and courses, dozens of ebooks containing valuable study material and practice tests, information on over 4,000 accredited schools, and scholarship search featuring $8 billion in available scholarships.
