Are there old VHS tapes hiding in your drawers—family videos from days gone by?

Convert those VHS tapes to computer video files that can easily be stored, viewed and shared using the library’s Elgato Video Capture converter.  CHPL cardholders may check out the converter for two weeks. Because a VHS player is also required for the conversion, we have one of those for you to borrow as well, or you can use your own.

And what about those mix tapes from the 80s? You can convert all your cassette tapes to digital files as well using our Wikoo cassette-to-mp3 converter.  This device is also available for two-week check-out for CHPL cardholders.

You'll need your computer to store the converted files for both these processes.

Overdue fines for these devices are $1/day. Please also note that these devices must be returned to the main desk at CHPL; please do not leave in book drop or return to another library. For more details, just ask at the main desk.
