US Weekly Now Available as Digital Magazine
The library has added US Weekly to its digital magazine collection.
The Library offers a digital collection of over 60 popular magazines through the library's RBdigital subscription service (formerly known as Zinio). You can enjoy your favorite magazines whenever and wherever you like by either streaming or downloading them. Best of all there are no limits and once you download a magazine, it's yours to keep. Read it on your computer or use a RBdigital app to read it on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. To get started all you need is your library card and an email address.
Go to our eMagazines page for more information about using RBdigital for digital magazines.
Streaming Movies Available
The library has added two new digital services that will give CHPL card holders even more access to downloadable and streaming content - especially movies. The following services can be accessed through the library’s website:
- Kanopy – Kanopy provides over 30,000 movies for library cardholders free of charge with an emphasis on documentaries and international films. Movies can be streamed on your computer, through a Roku box, or on iOS and Android phone apps. Limit of 4 films a month per CHPL card holder.
- Hoopla - Hoopla digital provides online and mobile access to eBooks, audiobooks, comics, music, movies, and TV shows. With Hoopla and a valid library card, patrons can easily borrow, stream, and download dynamic content via hoopla’s mobile app or from www.hoopladigital.com. Limit 4 items a month per CHPL card holder.
Both services have no wait lines – if you see content you want to download or stream, it is always available.
