You can donate to the library in many ways:

Donate money

Monetary donations provide support to expand the library's collection and offer additional programs and special services at the library. Every penny donated stays with the library.  Donations can be made by cash or check to the Clarendon Hills Public Library and are tax deductible.

Purchase a Remembrance Garden Brick.

Over 150 people have added their names to the brick garden path in front of the library. You too can commemorate a special occasion, honor a loved one, or just leave your mark at the library by purchasing and personalizing a brick. With a $100 donation, you’ll get a 4" x 8" brick inscribed with your name, favorite saying, or message.

If you are interested in purchasing a brick, please complete this Brick Odering Form. Payments can be made by cash or check to the Clarendon Hills Public Library. Donate funds to purchase library materials in someone's name.

Remember a loved one or honor a special event by sponsoring a select item in the collection. A bookplate inserted in the item names the individual being honored. If you are interested in sponsoring an item, call 630-323-8188 or email Lori Craft at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Donate used books, DVDs, CDs.

You may donate books, DVDs, and CDs to the library if they meet our donation guidelines. Items may be added to the library's collection or put in the library's book sale.
