Initial library card registration requires two forms of identification, one of which must be a photo ID. If your photo ID does not show your Clarendon Hills address, then please bring a photo ID and two proofs of residency.
Acceptable Photo IDs:

- Illinois State ID Card
- Firearms Owner Identification (FOID) Card
- Current Passport
- Permanent Resident Card or Immigration Card
- School-issued ID (current year)
Other Acceptable Identification (must include name and CH address to be accepted):
- Bills: Cable TV, Credit Card, Utility (current or last month)
- Car Registration
- Checkbook with Printed Name & Address
- Driver’s Permit
- Fishing License
- Mail from the State or Federal Government
- Magazine Subscription with Mailing Label (current or last month)
- Mortgage Documents or Rental Lease
- Pay Stub (current or last month)
- Property Tax Bill
- School Registration (Recent)
- Traffic Ticket
- Voter’s Identification Card
