Browse titles available for adults, young adults and children and then download available titles to your computer, tablet, eReader or smartphone. To get started, you need your CHPL library card and a SWAN PIN.

Use Media on Demand - an Overdrive product - to access over 54,000 fiction and non-fiction ebooks.

Media on Demand Loan Rules:
- You can have 20 MOD items out at one time.
- You can have 20 MOD items on hold at one time.
- The default loan period for ebooks is 14 days, but you can change this to 21 days by going into your MOD settings (under My Account).
- There are no late fees because the item content goes away on the due date.

Use eRead Illinois - using the Axis 360 digital platform from Baker & Taylor - to access over 12,000 fiction and non-fiction ebooks.

- You can have 5 items checked out at a time and up to 5 holds placed at a time.
- Items check out for 14 days.
- When a hold comes in for you, you will receive an email letting you know that you have 2 days to go into your eRead IL account and officially check out the item.
